Eivind Orlando. Hvem er han, egentlig? Denne kraftkalleren til deltagelse på internasjonale nettkunsthappenings. På om lag en uke har han teppebombet epostkassen min med ikke mindre enn 27 omfattende calls for participation, anledninger for meg og likesinnede til å skape kunst, delta på workshops, utvekslinger, biennaler eller annet rundt omkring i verden. Mannen finnes ikke, tenker jeg, han er et eller annet mystisk broderskap som har gått bananas med ny teknologi. Han kødder med meg. Fjernopererer på maskinen min eller hjernen min. Annet enn å arbeide 24 timer i døgnet for at jeg skal få mail som minner meg på alle mine fortapte muligheter? Hvorfor gjør han det han gjør? Jeg tror ikke lenger at han har gode hensikter med sin opplysningsvirksomhet. Orlando? Er det kodeord for en digital orkan, et maskinelt kroppsvirus, en tusenleddet orm som kryper ut av maskinen min og tar bolig i memene mine? Den første digitalreligiøse fanatiker? Ekunstfrelseren? Angsten eter sakte opp sjelen. 6. IndexPage Competition. Site Specific offers to all Digital Artist/Designer the opportunity to create the Index page of the website. The winning Artist will have a

9. "NORSK SKULPTURBIENNALE" – kunst i det offentlige rom. 8. SEPTEMBER - 29. OKTOBER 2006. Kurator for den fjerde skulpturbiennalen er Cecilia Widenheim, intendant og utstillingsansvarlig ved Moderna Museet i Stockholm. Høsten 2006 vil biennalen fokusere på kunst i det offentlige rom og er et samarbeide mellom Norsk Billedhoggerforening,Vigelandmuseet og Utsmykkingsfondet. Man ønsker å benytte et området som i vid sirkel har Vigelandmuseet som base. Dette området har høyst forskjellige urbane kvaliteter som f.eks. hele Majorstua senter inkl. stasjonsområdet, Colosseum senter, parkområder (Vigelandmuseet) og plassdannelser som
f.eks. Frogner plass samt svært variert bolig/villabebyggelse. Kunstnere som søker om deltakelse på biennalen, står fritt til å finne det området, plass eller bygning de ønsker som prosjektområde. Alle norske kunstnere eller utenlandske kunstnere bosatt i Norge kan søke. Samtidig med biennalen vil det bli arrangert et seminar i samarbeide med Tone Hansen, Statens Kunstakademi. 14. Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, International application for 2007. Residency offers an own studio and a modest work budget. The Rijksakademie is an international meeting place, production and research platform for young emerging artists from all over the world. They can work for one or two years on research, projects and production. Every year approximately 25 new artists are invited for a residency. The work period runs from January through December.
